These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of https://joinwogo.com, the wogo website, the wogo mobile application, and any related services that link to these Terms (together, the "Service").

wogo is currently operated as an early-stage product by an individual founder/developer and has not yet been incorporated as a separate legal entity. If this changes, we will update these Terms with the relevant legal entity details.

By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, submitting content, joining a visit plan, or using any related feature, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. What wogo does

wogo is a community-driven discovery and planning service for restaurants, cafés, dhabas, highway food stops, scenic food spots, weekend destinations, and similar places. The Service may allow users to discover places, view maps and cards, filter places, add places, upload photos, submit reviews and ratings, create visit plans, invite friends, suggest alternatives, and interact with sponsored listings.

wogo is not a restaurant, travel agency, transport provider, booking platform, payment provider, food ordering platform, emergency service, or official source of place information. Place details, ratings, opening status, pricing, facilities, routes, distance, availability, and other information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or user-submitted.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use wogo. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms.

The Service involves location-based discovery, public contributions, photos, travel or visit planning, recommendations, and sponsored content. It is not directed to children.

3. Accounts and login

You may need an account to use certain features. We may support login through phone number, email, OTP, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or other authentication methods. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it updated.

You are responsible for activity that happens through your account and for keeping your login details secure. You must not share your account access, impersonate another person, create accounts using false information, or use another user's account without permission.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if we believe that you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, submitted fake or harmful content, abused the Service, or used the Service unlawfully.

4. Location, maps, and navigation

wogo uses location and map-related features to show nearby places, calculate distance, support location picking, assist with visit verification, and help users decide where to go. Location, distance, route, travel time, opening status, and map information may be approximate and may depend on third-party services, device settings, network availability, and user-submitted data.

You are responsible for your own safety, travel decisions, route choices, and compliance with local laws. Do not use the Service in a way that distracts you while driving, riding, walking, or travelling. Always verify important information directly with the restaurant, place, map provider, or other relevant source before relying on it.

5. Visit plans, invite links, and group decisions

The Service may allow you to create visit plans, choose dates or times, invite friends, accept or reject invitations, and suggest alternative places. You are responsible for the plans you create, the people you invite, and the information you share through invite links.

Invite links may allow recipients to view limited plan information and respond to the invitation. Only share invite links with people you intend to invite. We may expire, restrict, disable, or revoke invite links where needed for safety, privacy, abuse prevention, or service integrity.

wogo does not guarantee that any user will attend a plan, that any place will be available, or that a visit will happen as planned.

6. User content

You may be able to submit, upload, post, or share content through the Service, including reviews, ratings, photos, place suggestions, corrections, tags, comments, reports, visit plans, and other information ("User Content").

You remain responsible for your User Content. You must only submit content that you have the right to submit and that does not violate the rights, privacy, safety, reputation, or property of another person or business.

By submitting User Content, you grant wogo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, modify, adapt, distribute, promote, and use that content for operating, improving, moderating, marketing, and promoting the Service. This licence continues for as long as needed to operate the Service, including after deletion where content has been shared, cached, backed up, anonymised, moderated, or retained for legal or safety reasons.

We may remove, edit, restrict, hide, reject, preserve, or moderate User Content at our discretion, including where we believe it is inaccurate, fake, spam, abusive, unlawful, harmful, offensive, misleading, promotional without permission, infringing, privacy- violating, or otherwise inconsistent with these Terms or the purpose of the Service.

7. Review and photo rules

Reviews, ratings, and photos should reflect genuine experiences and should not be fake, paid, misleading, copied, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, or unlawful. You must not submit reviews on behalf of someone else, manipulate ratings, create fake accounts, coordinate fake reviews, or submit content intended to unfairly harm or promote a place.

Photos should be relevant to the place or experience. You must not upload photos that violate privacy, contain sensitive personal information, expose private individuals without appropriate rights, include unlawful content, or infringe someone else's intellectual property rights.

Visit verification, where available, is only a signal that a review or action may have occurred near a place. It is not a guarantee that the review is true, complete, fair, or endorsed by wogo.

8. Place listings and owner accounts

Users and place owners may submit or update place information. You agree that any place information you submit must be accurate to the best of your knowledge and must not be misleading, unlawful, copied without permission, or submitted for fraudulent purposes.

If you claim, manage, or edit a restaurant, café, destination, or other place, you confirm that you have authority or a legitimate relationship to do so. We may request verification, reject changes, reverse edits, restrict owner access, or remove listings where needed for accuracy, safety, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.

wogo does not guarantee that a place listing will remain available, appear in a specific position, receive traffic, receive visits, or be shown to any particular user.

9. Sponsored listings and advertisements

The Service may show sponsored restaurants, cafés, places, offers, or promotions. Sponsored content will be clearly labelled as "Sponsored" or "Ad." Sponsored placement does not mean that a place is organically top-rated, independently recommended by the community, or endorsed by wogo as better than other places.

In the MVP, payments, billing, subscriptions, and sponsorship billing may not be active. If paid sponsorships, subscriptions, restaurant billing, in-app payments, or other paid features are introduced later, additional terms may apply.

We may decide how sponsored content is displayed, ranked, limited, labelled, reviewed, accepted, rejected, paused, or removed. We may refuse or remove sponsored content that we believe is misleading, unsafe, unlawful, low quality, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the purpose of the Service.

10. Acceptable use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, defame, or harm another person or business.
  • Submit fake reviews, fake ratings, fake visits, spam, copied content, or misleading place information.
  • Upload content that is illegal, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, discriminatory, infringing, or privacy-violating.
  • Scrape, crawl, copy, harvest, or extract data from the Service without our written permission.
  • Reverse engineer, tamper with, overload, attack, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the security of the Service.
  • Use bots, scripts, automation, or fake accounts to manipulate rankings, reviews, ratings, visits, invites, or visibility.
  • Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or unwanted invitations.
  • Misuse another user's personal information, contact details, invite links, photos, or content.
  • Violate any applicable law, third-party right, platform rule, or these Terms.

11. Moderation, enforcement, and reporting

We may provide tools to report inaccurate listings, harmful content, fake reviews, privacy issues, intellectual property concerns, abuse, or other violations. We may review reports manually or automatically.

We may remove content, restrict features, reduce visibility, disable invite links, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, block access, or take other action where we believe it is necessary to protect users, places, the community, the Service, or legal rights.

We are not required to monitor all content before it appears, and we do not guarantee that all inaccurate, harmful, or objectionable content will be removed immediately.

12. Intellectual property

The Service, including the wogo name, brand, interface, software, design, features, text, graphics, icons, logos, code, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

Third-party names, maps, logos, services, links, and content remain the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in the Service does not mean they endorse wogo.

13. Third-party services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services, including app stores, login providers, map providers, analytics providers, cloud providers, image storage providers, communication providers, social sharing apps, navigation apps, restaurant pages, and other websites or services.

We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, security, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Account deletion and termination

You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@joinwogo.com or by using any account deletion feature available in the app or website.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe that you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, harmed other users or businesses, misused the Service, or acted in a way inconsistent with the purpose of wogo.

After account deletion or termination, some content, records, logs, backups, moderation records, legal records, or anonymised information may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy or as permitted by law.

16. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that place information, reviews, ratings, photos, sponsored listings, opening hours, price ranges, facilities, routes, distance, availability, recommendations, verification labels, or other content will be accurate, complete, safe, current, or useful.

You are responsible for verifying important information before travelling, visiting, purchasing, booking, ordering, relying on recommendations, or making plans based on the Service.

17. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, wogo and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, personal injury, travel disruption, user content, or other losses arising from or related to your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the three months before the claim arose, or INR 1,000 if you did not pay us anything during that period.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

18. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless wogo, its operator, service providers, and partners from and against claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's or business's rights.

19. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, listings, plans, recommendations, moderation systems, sponsored placements, owner tools, app availability, and website content. We do not guarantee that any feature will always be available.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we update them, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the website, app, email, or in-app message where appropriate.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. Subject to applicable law, courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service.
