Every weekend, the same ritual. Someone drops "where should we go?" in the group chat. Forty messages later — screenshots, star ratings, one friend vetoing everything — you end up at the same place as last time. Or worse: somewhere an app ranked #1 because the restaurant paid for the spot.

Here's the thing: the people who know better already exist. The ones who know the best dal on NH-48, the chai stop with the sunrise view, the family-run place with no website and a forty-year reputation. They're just not the ones writing the rankings.

wogo puts them in charge. No aggregated data dressed up as recommendations. No restaurants buying their way to the top. Just people who went, ate, photographed, and came back saying "trust me on this one."

From the founder

wogo started with one too many Sundays lost to a group chat that couldn't pick a place. Every app showed us who paid to be seen — none showed us where the people we trust actually go. So I'm building the thing I wished existed: a community where every photo, every tag, every "order the dal, trust me" comes from a real visit. Community first

No reviews from people who never left the house. Every photo, every rating, every "order the dal makhani, trust me" comes from someone who sat at that table.

Locally relevant

Big platforms rank restaurants. We map what actually matters here — the dhaba at the 200 km mark, the viewpoint chai stall, the legend of a place that doesn't even have a signboard.

Honest by default

If someone paid to appear, you'll see the label — every time, no fine print. And a verified visit can't be bought. You earn it the only way that counts: by going.
